This role includes providing direct patient care, performing comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and overseeing rehabilitation programs to support optimal functional outcomes. The individual will grow into leading clinical operations, supervise and mentor staff, support scheduling and workflow, and ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve communicating with upper management, referring providers, coordinating care across disciplines, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience in evidence-based treatment planning and progression.Candidates should be highly personable and possess skills related to identifying functional deficits including clinical assessment, effective and safe treatment delivery, and interdisciplinary collaboration.Candidates should possess skills in comprehensive patient care, including proper referrals, designing home exercise programs and educating patients and caregivers.Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain licensure) and graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting, with the ability to guide and mentor a diverse team is preferred but not required.Strong communication, documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with a commitment to inclusive, respectful patient interactions. xzbcwsv Experience in outpatient orthopedics or similar rehabilitation environments in the New York City Metropolitan Area is required.
