Scrum Master Location: Lower Manhattan, New York, NY (hybrid, onsite 3 days per week)About the RoleWe’re seeking a Scrum Master to keep our network and infrastructure initiatives on track and moving. You’ll run daily stand-ups with engineers, consultants, and initiative leads, make sure weekly commitments are being delivered, and surface blockers quickly to the right level of leadership. This is a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift and the path isn’t always clear, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working through ambiguity and can follow technical conversations well enough to know what’s happening and what’s at risk.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily stand-ups to gather status and key updates from engineers, consultants, and initiative leadsConfirm that team members are on track and delivering against weekly commitmentsIdentify engineers who are blocked, off track, or without clear work, and escalate appropriately: first to the initiative lead, then to the product ownerSummarize and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders clearly and conciselyDrive Agile adoption and consistent use of Jira across teamsFacilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesPartner with initiative leads and product owners to keep priorities and backlogs clearPromote continuous improvement and healthy team dynamicsQualifications3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or technical project managerProven ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to unclear or changing situationsEnough technical fluency to follow daily engineering discussions and understand, at its core, what the engineers are working onStrong Scrum and Agile knowledge, with hands-on Jira experienceClear, concise communication xzbcwsv with both technical teams and senior leadershipComfort interfacing directly with engineers and holding teams accountableAbility to work onsite in our Lower Manhattan office 3 days per weekNice to HavePrior experience in banking or financial servicesBackground in networking or infrastructure (e.g., routing, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, data center, SD-WAN, cloud)Experience as a technical PM transitioning into an Agile or Scrum Master roleScrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)Familiarity with hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery, change management, or ITILFe)
