Role Description

The OFC Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore, responsible for overseeing Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) installation, maintenance, and repair activities. This role includes planning daily field operations, assigning tasks to teams, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to technical standards, safety protocols, and project timelines. The OFC Supervisor coordinates with project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve issues, manage resources, and provide timely status updates. Day-to-day tasks also involve inspecting work sites, verifying quality of installations, maintaining documentation and reports, and supporting troubleshooting for network outages or performance problems. The role requires hands-on involvement in operations, mentoring field staff, and ensuring that service level commitments are consistently met.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory and team leadership skills, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and coaching.
• Candidates should possess technical knowledge related to optical fiber cable networks, installation standards, splicing, testing, and fault diagnosis.
• Candidates should possess planning and organizational skills, including scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation management.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management abilities for working with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational issues and ensure timely resolutions.
• Relevant experience in telecom or network infrastructure supervision, preferably in OFC projects, is highly beneficial.
• A diploma or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with safety and compliance standards.
