Plant Manager

Insight Global is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at a frozen dessert manufacturing facility producing ice cream, frozen yogurt, and novelty products. This role oversees production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, warehousing, and product development while driving safety, efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Requirements:5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing4+ years in dairy, ice cream, or frozen dessert productionExperience managing managers and large production teamsKnowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory, and plant operationsFamiliarity with FDA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, and OSHA requirementsExperience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong financial, operational, and project management skills
Responsibilities:Lead daily plant operations, production planning, quality, and maintenanceDrive key metrics around safety, quality, productivity, cost, and serviceManage budgets, inventory, labor, and operational performanceEnsure compliance with food xzbcwsv safety and regulatory standardsPartner with cross-functional teams including QA, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and HRSupport capital improvement projects and continuous process improvementsDevelop, coach, and retain leadership teams and plant employeesHelp grow and manage co-manufacturing/co-pack customer relationships
