Role Description The Assistant Architect will support the design and execution of interior and infrastructure projects in alignment with client requirements and project standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and modifying architectural drawings, assisting in design development, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and supporting documentation for approvals and construction. The role involves reviewing plans for constructability, integrating design inputs from stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to local building codes and quality guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close coordination with multidisciplinary teams and regular presence at project locations. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design for interiors and civil infrastructure projects. Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration related to architectural tools and design workflows (e.g., CAD/BIM integrations). Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including basic planning, coordination, and monitoring of design-related tasks. Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up) and MS Office tools is beneficial. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline from an accredited institution is preferred. Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary, on-site project teams. Knowledge of local building regulations, materials, and construction practices in Chennai is an advantage.
