Position: Environmental Professional III
Location: Neville Island Plant - Pittsburgh, PA

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
The site Environmental Professional III will provide both leadership and tactical support to the Environmental programs at the Neville Island (80%) and Equipment & Assembly (20%) manufacturing locations. With strategic guidance from both the central EHS function and local plant manager, this hands-on leadership position will ensure local legislative compliance, develop and maintain environmental data systems, perform and maintain environmental risk assessments, develop site policies and improve the "E" culture on site, and provide environmental training
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university is required (environmental management discipline, safety, industrial hygiene, chemistry, chemical engineering)A master's degree or equivalent is preferred 3-5 years' experience of NPDES water permit management including DMR, reporting, and data collection review/interpretation is required 3-5 years' experience with RCRA hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal programs is required 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of success in reducing environmental risks and working knowledge and expertise in Environmental regulations and maintaining compliance with pertinent regulations is requiredExperience with compliance software is preferredExperience with data collection and analysis is preferredAbout Calgon Carbon
