Because everything happens in-house, from first sketch to final finish, we control quality end to end and partner closely with premium labels like MYOH to push what's possible in design, materials, and finishes.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Role</b></p><p>We're looking for a Product Design Engineer who lives at the intersection of beautiful design and precise manufacturing. You'll take product concepts - handles, hinges, fittings, and engineered metal components - and turn them into detailed, production-ready designs, then work hand-in-hand with our manufacturing and quality teams to make them real.</p><p>Day to day, you will:</p><ul><li>Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings from concept through production.</li><li>Optimize designs for manufacturability across CNC machining, casting, plating, and powder coating, working closely with the shop floor.</li><li>Validate designs through calculations, tolerance analysis, and prototyping before they go to production.</li><li>Balance aesthetics, feel, and finish with structural integrity, material selection, and cost.</li><li>Own design documentation and drive continuous improvement in materials, processes, and product performance.</li><li>Collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations to keep projects moving and on-spec.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>What You'll Bring</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in product design, mechanical design, or precision manufacturing - ideally in architectural hardware, metal fabrication, or a related field.</li><li>A strong eye for design paired with solid mechanical engineering fundamentals: material selection, tolerances/GD&amp;T, and design-for-manufacture.</li><li>Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and technical drawings, plus CorelDRAW and the Adobe Suite for design and presentation work.</li><li>Comfort with prototyping and iterating quickly.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.</li><li>A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product/Design Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Good to have: working knowledge of Blender.</li></ul><p>A portfolio of past design or engineering work is a big plus - we'd love to see what you've made.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Why Join Vendora</b></p><ul><li>See your work come to life.
