The Head of UGCC will lead the University Guidance & Career Counselling Centre, providing strategic direction, student advisory services, university partnerships, career exploration initiatives, and admissions support. The position requires strong expertise in higher education pathways, student counselling, admissions processes, and program leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the institution's university and career guidance strategy including annual goals, KPIs, and student outcome targets.

• Design guidance programs for students across different academic stages. Guide students in career exploration, subject selection, university shortlisting, and admissions planning.

• Support students applying to Indian, UK, US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Singapore, and other global destinations.

• Review personal statements, essays, portfolios, resumes, and recommendation processes.

• Conduct parent counselling meetings and information sessions. Build trust through transparent communication and regular updates.

• Establish relationships with universities, admission officers, and educational organizations.

• Organize university fairs, webinars, campus visits, and interaction sessions.

• Track student outcomes, application success rates, and placement statistics.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Management, or related field.

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in university guidance, career counselling, admissions, or educational leadership.

• Strong knowledge of Indian and international admissions processes.

• Experience managing teams and student-facing programs.

Preferred

• Preferred - International university counselling certifications. Experience working with schools, colleges, or higher education institutions.
