Job Title: Candidate Counselor & Placement Coordinator Location: Onsite, Nagpur Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Fresher / Entry-level Reports To: Founders / Operations Lead Role Overview Yogyam is building a Global Career Readiness platform that prepares professionals for international career opportunities. This role owns the candidate's journey end-to-end — from first outreach through to being interview-ready with a partner employer. You'll be the primary human touchpoint for candidates: guiding, verifying, screening, and coordinating. A great entry point into the international workforce mobility and career-services space. Key Responsibilities Outreach & Coordination First point of contact for inbound and sourced candidates; manage ongoing communication across the candidate's journey (calls, WhatsApp, email); coordinate handoffs between counseling, document, and employer-facing teams CounselingExplain pathway options, eligibility, timelines, and costs; address candidate concerns and objections; help candidates decide if and how to proceed Document ProcessingCollect, verify, and organize required documents (qualifications, licenses, ID, experience letters); track document status against process checklists; flag gaps or discrepancies early PrescreeningAssess candidates against role/employer eligibility criteria (qualification, experience, language level, etc.) before advancing them in the pipeline Interview LineupSchedule interviews between shortlisted candidates and partner employers; handle logistics (time zones, links, reminders, follow-ups); ensure candidates are briefed and prepared What We're Looking For Freshers/1 Year Experience in Study Abroad or Work Abroad Agency Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable on calls and managing high message volume Detail-oriented and organized — this role is document- and process-heavy, with multiple candidates moving through the pipeline in parallel Empathetic, patient communicator — you'll be guiding candidates through decisions that affect their careers and lives Comfortable with basic tools (spreadsheets, WhatsApp Business, scheduling tools) Bachelor's degree in any discipline Compensation: Benchmarked to market standards for entry-level roles in Nagpur, with room to grow as you take on more of the candidate pipeline.
