ResponsibilitiesAct as a deal team member in underwriting potential private credit transactions, including diligence and credit memo preparationAnalyze historical financial statements, company KPIs, comparable company information/precedent transactions, and industry reports to support deal teams' evaluation of investment opportunitiesPerform base case and downside case 3-statement modeling in support of investment recommendations and portfolio managementCoordinate analysis with our credit analysts to provide industry and market comp context for each transaction, including barrel valuation and borrowing base considerations specific to spirits assetsHelp support the broader private credit business as we grow, including portfolio management, structuring, and capital markets activitiesWork effectively in a small deal team setting with a collaborative mindset while managing multiple deal processes at the same timeAnalyze credit documents such as loan agreements, amendments, and security agreements
Requirements5–10 years of experience in private credit, including time in the credit divisions of large banking institutions or a private xzbcwsv credit specialty companyMBA or CFA strongly preferredStrong team-first mindset and ability to work within a lean, fast-paced organizationExcellent quantitative, communication, and time management skillsBA/BS degree requiredFamiliarity with Reg D structures, waterfalls, and carry a plus
