Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements: BA plus Valid CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and English Learner Authorization (CLAD) In addition to a base credential, teachers must satisfy one of the following early education criteria:

• At least 24 semester units in early childhood education, child development, or both.
• A valid Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
• Comparable professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-aged children, as determined and approved by the charter school.
• Fingerprint and tuberculosis clearances as required by law
