Location: Phoenix, AZSalary: $90,000 to $130,000 (DOE) + annual performance bonusTravel: Up to 100% across US project locationsJob Type: Full-time, permanent
We are working with a leading electrical contractor seeking a BESS Commissioning Engineer to support utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage and substation projects across the US.
The role:Coordinate testing and commissioning activities across project sitesReview electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and test proceduresSupport the commissioning of PV, BESS, substations, SCADA and power conversion systemsWork closely with project teams, utilities, engineers, OEMs and subcontractorsMonitor project schedules, documentation and regulatory complianceInvestigate technical issues and support root cause analysis
Requirements:BA or BS degree requiredElectrical xzbcwsv Engineering backgroundCommissioning BackgroundAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsWillingness to travel extensively across the USPV, battery storage or electrical contracting experienceKnowledge of P6, SCADA, IEC or IEEE
