To Apply for this Job Click HereJob ID#: 35948The Controller is responsible for leading all accounting and financial operations for the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business performance within manufacturing and construction environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, job costing, inventory, and revenue recognitionOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial statement preparationEnsure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controlsManage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisPartner with operations and project teams to provide financial insight, job cost analysis, and margin optimizationOversee audits, tax coordination, and external financial reportingDrive process improvements, system enhancements, and ERP optimizationSupervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering development and accountabilityQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing and construction environmentsCPA designation (preferred)Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accountingAdvanced Excel skillsHands-on ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Sage, or similar)Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred ExperienceJob costing and WIP reportingInventory management and standard costingMulti-entity or multi-location accountingProcess improvement and system implementation experienceFounded in 1998, Professional Alternatives is an award-winning recruiting and staffing agency that utilizes technology and relationships to deliver top talent. Connect with us today!To Apply for this Job Click Here
