Accounting Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper

Robert Half is working with a growing international organization where you'll play a critical role in managing U.S. accounting operations while serving as the primary finance liaison with the company's headquarters in Germany. Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial ManagementManage the general ledger, chart of accounts, and journal entries.Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash activity, and monitor online banking transactions.Process intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and payments.Track fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, and deferred revenue.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.Compliance & External PartnershipsCoordinate sales tax, insurance, licensing, and other compliance-related requirements.Partner with external CPAs, tax advisors, auditors, and banking institutions.Prepare and provide financial documentation for external advisors and stakeholders.Global CollaborationServe as the key finance contact between U.S. operations and headquarters in Germany.Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, local leadership, legal teams, and sales administration.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong understanding of G/L accounting, AR/AP, reconciliations, and month-end close.Experience working with external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisors.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting international organizations or working closely with global headquarters.Background in payroll administration, budgeting, forecasting, or HR-related financial reporting.Experience with intercompany accounting and multinational reporting environments.
