WaveLink Technologies (Private) Limited is looking for an enthusiastic, driven Trainee Engineer to join our technical team in Islamabad. Position Overview

• Role: Trainee Engineer – Antenna Design
• Job Type: Full-time
• Education: BE / BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Modeling, simulation, and performance optimization of antenna structures across target frequency bands.
• Utilize full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation software to analyze parameters such as return loss (S11), radiation patterns, gain, and impedance matching.
• Support hardware prototyping, fabrication, tuning, and benchtop testing using RF laboratory equipment.
• Document design iterations, test data, and technical findings to support ongoing product development.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong theoretical foundation in electromagnetics, transmission lines, RF principles, and antenna theory (microstrip patch, dipoles, arrays, etc.).
• Hands-on Experience: Practical exposure to antenna design through a Final Year Project (FYP), academic research, or previous internship.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with EM simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST Studio Suite, or Keysight ADS.
• Lab Skills: Familiarity with RF test instruments (Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators) is a plus.
• Attributes: Proactive attitude, analytical problem-solving skills, and a strong drive to learn emerging wireless and RF technologies.
