Akkodis is seeking an Quality Assurance Technician for a Contract position with a client located in Fairport NY. We are looking for focuses on quality inspections, blueprint reading, precision measurements, documentation, and ensuring products meet specifications before shipment..

Pay Range: $30/hr - $32/hr on W2 (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Work Setup: Onsite, Monday–Friday - 1st Shift 100% Onsite
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) as required per documentation and procedures.Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.Present FAI findings to all applicable stakeholders.Review prints, plans, and specifications to understand product and service requirements.Perform Receiving Inspection as needed.Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare finished products to specifications.Escalate quality control concerns to improve product excellence and drive timely resolution.Inspect a variety of units using measuring and inspection instruments, including:CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)MicrometersGaugesCalipers
