Data Science </strong> program at our Mumbai campus located at Patkar Varde College, Goregaon West. </p><p>The selected faculty member will be responsible for building strong programming fundamentals among undergraduate students while helping them understand how Python is applied in real-world business and technology environments. </p><p><br /></p><p>The ideal candidate should bring significant industry experience and be capable of connecting programming concepts with practical applications through hands-on coding sessions, industry use cases, assignments, and project-based learning. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><p>Teaching &amp; Delivery </p><ul><li>Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on practical sessions in Python Programming. </li><li>Teach core programming concepts including variables, data types, control structures, functions, file handling, exception handling, and object-oriented programming. </li><li>Introduce students to problem-solving techniques and computational thinking. </li><li>Demonstrate industry best practices in software development, debugging, testing, and code documentation. </li><li>Develop and maintain course content, coding exercises, assignments, and project work aligned with academic and industry expectations. </li><li>Conduct practical coding sessions and mentor students during lab activities. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Academic Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li>Support internal assessments, project evaluations, and academic reviews. </li><li>Coordinate with the Academic Team to ensure timely syllabus completion. </li><li>Maintain academic standards and student engagement throughout the semester. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills </strong> </p><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. </li><li>Strong hands-on experience in Python Programming. </li><li>Experience in Software Development, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, or Analytics domains. </li><li>Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and Python development tools. </li><li>Understanding of programming best practices, debugging, and version control concepts. </li><li>Prior teaching, mentoring, corporate training, or technical coaching experience preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills. </li><li>Strong ability to explain technical concepts to beginner-level learners. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Experience (Preferred) </strong> </p><ul><li>3+ years of hands-on industry experience using Python. </li><li>Experience working on live software, analytics, automation, or data science projects. </li><li>Prior teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience preferred. </li><li>Experience guiding students, interns, or junior developers will be an added advantage. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>How to Apply </strong> </p><p>Interested candidates may directly apply through the platform or email their updated resume to: </p> <p><strong>Subject Line: </strong> </p><p><em>Application – Visiting Faculty (Python Programming) </em> </p><p><strong>Work Location: </strong> </p><p><em>In-person (Mumbai – Patkar Varde College, Goregaon West) </em> </p>
