Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Job Type: Technical/Engineering
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our key client for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a multi-building site in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, electrically biased engineer to take responsibility for maintenance across three buildings within a single campus.
The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across mechanical and electrical building services, with a particular focus on electrical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably while maintaining high standards of compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across three buildings.
· Respond to reactive maintenance requests and diagnose faults.
· Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical building services, with an emphasis on electrical systems.
· Conduct fault finding to ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.
· Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant industry standards, site procedures and health and safety requirements.
· Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and logbooks.
· Support the smooth day-to-day running of the site by delivering a professional and reliable engineering service.
Requirements
· Strong electrical engineering background; an electrical bias is preferred.
· Relevant electrical qualifications and experience in building services maintenance.
· Experience carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
· Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage maintenance requirements across multiple buildings.
· Good communication and organisational skills.
· Right to work in the UK
What's on Offer
· £45,000 per annum.
· Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
· Plenty of overtime available.
· A resident engineering role at a single-site location.
· Responsibility for maintaining three buildings within one campus.
