Pre-Sales & Support Engineer - Hyderabad (On-Field)

<p>Vigilant Technologies is looking for a <strong>Pre-Sales &amp; Support Engineer (On-Field) </strong> to provide end-to-end technical support, from pre-sale solutioning to post-sale Support, for enterprise-grade Security, Fire Safety, Telecom and ELV/BMS solutions in Hyderabad. </p><p><strong>Products: </strong> </p><ul><li>Enterprise-grade <strong>CCTV &amp; Video Surveillance </strong> solutions </li><li><strong>Access Control </strong> systems </li><li><strong>Fire Safety </strong> &amp; fire detection solutions </li><li><strong>Telecom infrastructure </strong> – EPABX, IP-PABX, Gateways </li><li><strong>Passive Networking </strong> (structured cabling, racks, patch panels, etc.) </li><li>Other <strong>ELV (Extra Low Voltage) </strong> and <strong>BMS (Building Management Systems) </strong> solutions </li> </ul><p>If you've worked hands-on with enterprise-grade CCTV, fire safety or related ELV products from brands like <strong>Bosch, Axis, Tyco, Pelco, I-PRO, Honeywell </strong> or similar and you're equally comfortable presenting a solution to a client and then getting hands-on to install or troubleshoot it, this role is built for you. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Conduct <strong>site surveys </strong> and assess technical feasibility at client/prospect locations </li><li>Prepare <strong>technical proposals, BOQs, system designs, and datasheets </strong> in coordination with the sales team </li><li>Deliver <strong>product demonstrations </strong> and technical presentations to clients, consultants, and channel partners </li><li>Respond to <strong>technical queries during the sales cycle </strong> — specifications, compliance, integration, compatibility </li><li>Support <strong>tender/RFP responses </strong> with technical documentation and compliance sheets </li><li>Provide <strong>on-site installation, configuration, and commissioning support </strong> for CCTV, access control, fire, and ELV systems </li><li>Perform <strong>troubleshooting and fault diagnosis </strong> for hardware, network, and software-level issues at client locations </li><li>Handle <strong>client escalations on-site </strong> and ensure timely resolution within SLA </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Preferred Candidates: </strong> </p><ul><li>Good Communication skills </li><li><strong>3–7 years </strong> of technical pre-sales and field support experience in <strong>CCTV, fire safety, access control or related ELV products </strong> </li><li>Hands-on product experience with at least one of: <strong>Bosch (Fire/Security), Axis, Tyco, Pelco, I-PRO </strong> or a comparable enterprise-grade brand </li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>IP networking basics </strong> (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, NVR/VMS setup and troubleshooting) </li><li>Comfortable being <strong>on-field for both pre-sale activities (surveys, demos) and post-sale work </strong> </li><li>Ability to read and work with <strong>technical drawings, BOQs and system schematics </strong> </li><li><strong>Based in Hyderabad </strong> </li> </ul>
