As Pixenite continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer who can transform ideas into impactful visual communication across digital and print platforms.

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Senior Graphic Designer

Location: Remote

Engagement: Full-Time Independent Contractor

Working Hours: 9:00 PM–6:00 AM IST

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing high-quality creative work for multiple brands and marketing channels.

This role requires strong creative thinking, attention to detail, excellent design execution, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO -

• Create branding, marketing, and advertising materials for multiple clients and industries

• Design social media creatives, digital advertisements, brochures, flyers, menus, presentations, banners, website graphics, and other marketing assets

• Develop brand identities, visual systems, campaign concepts, and brand guidelines

• Create platform-appropriate content for Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, websites, and other digital channels

• Write, adapt, and improve short content, headlines, and messaging used within designs

• Create basic motion graphics, short-form videos, and AI-assisted visual or video content when required

• Maintain consistency across all brand and campaign materials

• Prepare accurate print-ready and production-ready artwork

• Review design briefs, understand business objectives, and recommend creative solutions

• Collaborate with marketing, content, photography, video, and management teams

• Manage multiple projects, revisions, priorities, and deadlines

• Maintain organized working files, naming conventions, and project records

• Apply feedback professionally and complete revisions efficiently

• Conduct quality checks before submitting final work

• Stay current with design trends, creative tools, AI technologies, and digital-platform requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4 years of professional graphic design experience

• Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, marketing, social media, advertising, print, and digital design work

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design

• Strong understanding of branding, typography, composition, colour, layout, and visual communication

• Experience creating commercially effective designs—not only visually attractive artwork

• Ability to understand creative briefs and work independently

• Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Good written and verbal English communication skills

• Strong time-management, organization, and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Previous creative, branding, marketing, or advertising agency experience

• Working knowledge of Figma

• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro

• Experience with motion graphics and short-form video content

• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools

• Experience designing for restaurants, hospitality, travel, tourism, retail, or professional-service businesses

BEFORE YOU APPLY

This is an evaluation period under an independent contractor arrangement and is not an employee probation period.

Initial Evaluation Period

The first six months will be considered an Initial Evaluation Period. Your creativity, design quality, technical capabilities, productivity, communication, reliability, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines will be evaluated.

WORKING HOURS

The standard working hours are 9:00 PM–6:00 AM IST, including a one-hour paid meal break.

Working Days

Monday to Friday, plus the first, third, and fifth Saturdays of each month, wherever applicable.

Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays will be off.

Paid Leave

After successfully completing the six-month Initial Evaluation Period, you will accrue one paid leave day for every completed month of continuous engagement, up to 12 paid leave days per calendar year.

Company Holidays

The company currently observes selected holidays, including Makar Sankranti, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Diwali, and December 31. Holiday schedules may be adjusted according to client commitments and business requirements.

Professional Fees

Professional fees are paid between the first and fifth day of each month against a valid invoice submitted during the final week of the previous month.

Notice Period

After completing the Initial Evaluation Period, a 90-day written notice period will apply, subject to the terms of the final Independent Contractor Agreement.

Employee statutory benefits such as provident fund, gratuity, employer-provided insurance, pension, maternity or paternity leave, and severance benefits are not included.

Equipment and Software

The selected contractor must have:

• A professional computer capable of handling advanced design work

• Reliable high-speed internet

• A dependable power-backup arrangement

• Software and subscriptions

• A secure and professional remote workspace

Productivity Monitoring

The contractor may be required to use company-approved time-tracking, attendance, and productivity-monitoring software during scheduled working hours.

Confidentiality

The selected candidate must sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and comply with all confidentiality, intellectual-property, data-security, non-solicitation, and related contractual obligations.
