Shift: Monday to Wednesday | 6:00pm - 6:30am
Hours: 36 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate

Cable Assembly Operatives Required - Brackmills, Northampton
Quest Employment are currently recruiting experienced Cable Assembly Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Brackmills, Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous assembly, manufacturing, automotive or electronics experience who are looking for a well-paid night shift and long-term work.
The role will involve cutting, crimping, packing and loading cables , while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Previous manufacturing, production or assembly experience is highly desirable. Candidates with automotive manufacturing, electrical assembly or cable production experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
The Role As a Cable Assembly Operative, your duties may include:
Cutting cables accurately to required lengths and specifications
Crimping cables and components using appropriate equipment
Assembling and preparing cable products
Packing finished cables ready for dispatch
Loading and handling packed cable products
Following production instructions and quality standards
Checking finished products for accuracy and defects
Reporting any quality issues or production concerns
Working towards daily production targets
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workstation
Following all site health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous manufacturing, production or assembly experience
Have experience in cable assembly, electronics or automotive manufacturing, desirable
Are confident working with their hands and completing detailed assembly work
Have good manual dexterity and excellent attention to detail
Can follow production instructions accurately
Are physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods
Can commit to the Monday to Wednesday night shift
Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
Can work independently and as part of a team
Are looking for long-term work with a potential permanent opportunity
