Manager - Program Growth and Admissions
Dani Sports Foundation · New delhi, India
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for owning DSF's B2C admissions pipeline and organisational partnerships across the High Performance Leadership and Coach Development Programs, while coordinating the operational execution of institutional nominations for existing and new programs in the pipeline. The individual in this role is expected to build and convert a structured prospect database, secure corporate and academy partnerships, and ensure seamless administrative execution of institutionally-nominated cohorts, working closely with the Vice President – High Performance Sports.
Job Profile: Full Time, Permanent
Reports to: Vice President – High Performance Sports
Location: Mumbai (preferred); Delhi considered for the right candidate. Domestic travel required for offline outreach, partner meetings, and program events.
Roles and Responsibilities
B2C Pipeline & Admissions
- Own and expand DSF's structured prospect database through both online and offline outreach.
- Own admissions target per program cycle, sourced through any combination of individually-converted (B2C) and partnership-sourced enrolments.
- Maintain end-to-end pipeline tracking and conversion reporting against cohort targets.
Organisational Partnerships
- Identify, negotiate, and close organisational partnerships across corporate CSR partners and growth-stage sports academies, delivering target quota of confirmed partnerships per program cycle.
- Own partner conversations end-to-end — outreach, proposal, negotiation, and onboarding — within DSF's partnership mandate.
Institutional Coordination
- Coordinate the operational execution of the nomination pipeline, including documentation, eligibility verification, and nomination-to-enrolment handoff.
- Act as the day-to-day liaison for nominating contacts once institutional relationships are established by DSF leadership.
- Escalate nomination-pipeline delays or gaps to the Vice President – High Performance Sports promptly.
Program Management Support
- Support logistical coordination for in-person residencies — venue, scheduling, participant logistics, and materials.
- Support faculty identification, outreach, and coordination during live program delivery, including session scheduling and on-ground logistics.
- Support execution of major program events and milestones — launch, graduation etc— as an additional resource to the team.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Maintain a live pipeline, partnership, and coordination dashboard for the Vice President – High Performance Sports.
- Report against agreed KPIs on a monthly/quarterly cadence.
- Coordinate closely with the VP on institutional nomination and faculty-outreach workstreams.
- Contribute time and effort towards other programs of DSF from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience & Background
- 5–8 years of experience in business development, B2C sales/growth, or partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to build and convert a structured prospect database against a quota, not just generate leads.
- Experience coordinating with institutional or government-adjacent stakeholders in an execution capacity is a strong plus.
- Graduate degree required; MBA or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or Sports Management preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in sports administration, sports education, edtech, or the nonprofit/mission-driven sector preferred but not required.
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for pipeline reporting and partner-facing materials.
- Comfortable working with sales intelligence platforms and CRM/pipeline tracking tools.
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly for closing partnership and sponsorship agreements.
- Ability to build clear, persuasive proposals and pitch decks for partnership and CSR outreach.
- Data/analytical literacy — comfortable interpreting pipeline and conversion data to inform reporting and decision-making.
Attitudes and Working Styles
Beyond technical skill, success in this role tends to look like:
- A consultative approach to sales, rather than high-pressure or transactional closing.
- Comfort operating within a relationship someone more senior owns — executing reliably on the institutional or government-adjacent stakeholders coordination workstream without needing to own or renegotiate it personally.
- A genuine interest in sports development and DSF's mission, beyond a purely transactional motivation.
- The ability to hold a hard admissions/partnership quota and a high-discipline coordination workstream at the same time, without letting one crowd out the other.
- A self-starter mindset — comfortable building your own systems and processes in a nonprofit environment that won't have the marketing/sales-ops infrastructure of a large corporate BD role.
