<p><strong>Position: Structural draughtsman </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>PLACE OF POSTING: Bangalore </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline. </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE (Industry, Area of experience, Years of Experience) </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>5–10 years of experience </strong> in precast detailing for the <strong>real estate or construction industry </strong>, particularly on <strong>high-rise buildings </strong>. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Comfortable working with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, etc.) and reading complex blueprints.Capable of identifying potential design conflicts and offering practical, cost-effective solutions. Keeps up with advancements in design tools, materials, and construction technologies. </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES </strong> </p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Prepare detailed shop drawings and erection plans for <strong>precast concrete elements </strong> including slabs, beams, columns, wall panels, staircases, and other structural components. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Develop 2D and 3D models using software such as <strong>AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures (preferred), and SolidWorks </strong>. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Coordinate closely with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, and project managers to ensure design intent and integration. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into precise precast detailing. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Review and verify dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, lifting and handling considerations. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Generate <strong>Bill of Materials (BOM) </strong> and support production teams with required documentation. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Attend design coordination meetings and site visits as required. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with applicable <strong>building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices </strong>. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><ul><li>Identify and resolve design issues proactively to avoid delays in fabrication or construction. </li> </ul><p><br /></p>
