Job Description
Oversee all aspects of the production process, including assembly, Injection moulding and End of Line testing.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient use of resources
• Monitor production processes and adjust production schedules as needed to maintain quality standards and meet customer requirements
• Manage and train production employees, ensuring that all the members are trained to perform their duties efficiently as per expected skill level safely.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed
• Develop and implement safety procedures and guidelines to ensure that all production processes are performed safely with 100% PPE adherence.
• Ensure safety audits completion on time and vigilant to safety at workplace for safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Maintenance, Manufacturing engineering, Quality, Engineering and logistics, to improve production processes and meet customer requirements
• Ensure that all production processes comply with industry standards and regulations
• Provide regular reports to senior management on production progress, OEE, Manufacturing scrap and output efficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, 8 D methodology, 7 QC tools etc
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to support for productivity cost savings from shop floor.
• Maintain high level of 5 S in shop floor and improve visual factory floor
• Motivate employees to participate in KAIZEN and Suggestion process.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 quality management system standards
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools.
Experience : Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in a production management role in the automobile industry
Industry Preferred : Automotive/ Manufacturing in OEM.
Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Electronics/Mechatronics related field.
Knowledge : Strong knowledge of production processes, including assembly, Injection moulding, Servo pressing, Coil winding, PU Potting, Heat treatment and Electrical testing etc.,
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental regulations.Desirable
