Role Summery:

The Library In-Charge will build a dynamic, innovation-led library ecosystem blending physical and digital resources. The role focuses on driving school-wide literacy, developing strategic programs, managing library operations, and creating an inspiring creative space for the entire learning community.

Work Location: Manjri - Pune

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the library's mission and school objectives.
• Manage day-to-day library operations including book acquisition, budget monitoring, and staff scheduling.
• Create and sustain an innovation-led environment to continuously improve library services and user experience.
• Direct the acquisition, organization, maintenance, and evaluation of all library materials including books, periodicals, digital resources, audiobooks, and multimedia content.
• Coordinate and promote educational, cultural, and recreational programs including author talks, workshops, and book clubs.
• Ensure effective operation and maintenance of library facilities with focus on safety, accessibility, and cleanliness.
• Monitor and evaluate library programs through data analysis, user feedback, and performance metrics.
• Implement continuous improvements and innovations to enhance library effectiveness and efficiency.
• Create and implement a Whole School Literacy and Reading Programs to enhance reading skills of every student.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom learning activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Journalism, Library Science, or a related field.
• Experience working with children's literature, magazines, or other educational materials preferred.
• Knowledge of digital library tools, audiobooks, and multimedia resources.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for reading and literacy development.
