<p><b>Department: Supply Chain Engineering </b> </p><p><b>Company: Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS) </b> </p><p>Build the data foundations that power a supply chain reaching millions of patients worldwide. </p><p><b>Your new role </b> </p><p>As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that drive supply chain performance. You'll work at the intersection of complex systems and meaningful outcomes – turning raw data into the intelligence that keeps life-saving medicines flowing to patients. </p><p>Day-to-day your tasks will include: </p><li>Developing ingestion, transformation, and integration flows across diverse systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, logistics systems, planning tools) using AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GitHub </li><li>Optimising data flows for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency </li><li>Implementing CI/CD, version control, and automated testing for data pipelines </li><li>Collaborating with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights </li><li>Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all systems, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards </li><li>Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks </li><li>Documenting data solutions, architecture, and processes for knowledge sharing and audit purposes </li><p><b>Your new department </b> </p><p>In Enterprise IT &amp; Quality, you will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain. The team works closely with colleagues across operations, planning, and analytics to ensure the right data reaches the right people at the right time – enabling faster, smarter decisions at scale. </p><p><b>Your skills &amp; qualifications </b> </p><p>We're looking for a Data Engineer with deep technical expertise and the ability to drive data engineering initiatives in a complex, fast-moving environment. You'll bring with you: </p><li>A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field </li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, with proven expertise in large-scale data systems </li><li>Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark-based development </li><li>Hands-on experience with Databricks (notebooks, workflows, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog) </li><li>Experience with the Azure data stack (ADF, Azure Databricks, GitHub) </li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders </li>
