Marine Technician – Ship Repair / Shipbuilding

<p><b>Job Title: Marine Project Coordinator / Marine Maintenance Engineer </b><br /> </p><b>Industry: Ship Repair / Shipbuilding / Marine Engineering </b><br /><b>Key Responsibilities: </b><br />• Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams<br />• Assist in preparing Project Work Packs and operational instructions<br />• Support planning and execution of maintenance activities for vessels and marine equipment<br />• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health &amp; Safety (WHS) regulations and company policies<br />• Coordinate and schedule project activities to meet operational deadlines<br />• Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules and critical timelines<br />• Track project progress, costs, and resource utilization<br />• Evaluate and update project forecasts based on actual progress and expenses<br />• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and management for smooth project execution<br />• Maintain accurate project, maintenance, and operational documentation<br /><br /><p></p><p><b>Requirements </b> </p> <p></p><li><b>Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred </b><br /> </li><li><b>4+ years of experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, marine maintenance, or dry dock operations </b><br /> </li><li>Strong understanding of marine engineering operations and maintenance planning<br /> </li><li>Ability to manage project schedules, timelines, and operational activities<br /> </li><li>Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills<br /> </li><li>Knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements<br /> </li><br />
