Job Summary

The organization is looking for a Accounts Role who will support the finance team in basic cost accounting, inventory accounting, and routine accounting 

operations. The candidate should have a good understanding of inventory transactions, costing concepts, and accounting entries, preferably within a 

manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in cost accounting activities, including basic product costing and cost data compilation.

•Maintain and track inventory accounting records, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

•Support in inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system records.

•Assist in preparation of cost sheets and cost analysis reports.

•Record and verify accounting entries related to inventory and material consumption.

•Coordinate with stores, purchase, and production teams for inventory-related data.

•Support in monthly closing activities related to costing and inventory valuation.

•Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.

•Assist senior finance team members in MIS reports and financial analysis.

Required Skills & Competencies

•Basic understanding of Cost Accounting and Inventory Accounting.

•Knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.

•Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP / Tally / other accounting software.

•Strong MS Excel skills for data tracking and analysis.

•Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
