What You'll Be Doing as a Staff AccountantSupport general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliationsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activitiesPrepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reportsAssist with accounting activities related to investments and other financial assetsReview financial transactions and investigate discrepanciesSupport audit preparation, financial documentation, and internal controlsCollaborate with senior accounting leadership on reporting and special projectsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
What You Bring as a Staff AccountantBachelor's degree in Accounting required2+ years of public accounting experience requiredAudit backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply!CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification is a plusStrong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and general ledger accountingSolid Excel skills and ability to learn new accounting systemsStrong analytical skills and excellent attention to detailProfessional, collaborative personality with a desire to learn and growInterest in transitioning into private industry and building a long-term accounting career
