Accounts and Finance Manager

Bengal Tea & Fabrics Ltd. is strengthening its finance team in Kolkata and invites applications for a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4–5 years of experience.

Role Summary

Drive first-class statutory compliance and insightful financial reporting for a diversified listed company. You will own GST, income-tax, quarterly and annual accounts closing and while supporting strategic proposals to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

·       File accurate, on-time GST returns—GSTR-1, 3B, 9 & 9C—for Listed company and group entities .

·       Maintain end-to-end books of accounts for NBFCs, Trusts and corporate subsidiaries.

·       Prepare, consolidate and finalize annual & quarterly financial statements of Listed Company and ensure seamless ITR e-filing.

·       Compute and monitor advance-tax liability for individuals, HUFs and companies.

·       Produce quarterly provisional financials for NBFC business and present variance analyses.

·       Draft replies to income-tax/GST notices and liaise with authorities till resolution.

·       Deliver concise investment-summary reports for promoters and corporate treasury.

·       Maintain employee TDS registers; prepare and e-file quarterly TDS returns.

Qualifications & Skills

·       CA (Qualified) with 4-5 years of relevant post qualification experience.

·       Hands-on command of GST, income-tax and Companies Act compliance.

Finalization and closure of quarterly accounts and annual accounts of listed company

·       Proven expertise in Tally/ERP, advanced Excel; working knowledge of MProfit preferred.

·       Strong analytical writing for bank proposals and tax notices.

·       Ability to manage multiple ledgers and deadlines in a listed-company environment.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
