Position DetailsCross Country Education is seeking Special Education Teachers for multiple school-based opportunities across Arizona. We have openings serving students from K–12th grade, including resource and self-contained settings.
Locations & Openings:Phoenix, AZ - Phoenix Union High School District: 9th–12th Grade Special EducationTempe, AZ – Tempe Elementary School District: K–8th Grade Resource & Self-ContainedSurprise, AZ – Dysart Unified School District: K–8th Grade ResourcePhoenix, AZ – Paradise Valley School District: K–8th Grade Resource & Self-Contained
Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: May 28, 2027Schedule: Full-time school-based positionsCompensation: $50–55+/hr based on experience (W-2)Pay: Paid weekly

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education servicesDevelop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goalsCollaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and familiesMonitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentationParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPsAdapt curriculum, instruction, and classroom materials to meet individual student needsSupport students in resource, self-contained, and/or inclusion settings depending on the assignment
RequirementsAppropriate Arizona Special Education teaching certification/credentialIVP Fingerprint Clearance CardExperience working with students with disabilities preferredAbility to work collaboratively within a school-based teamStrong communication, organization, and classroom-management skillsMust be eligible to work in a school setting in Arizona
