Salary - 50,000 (CTC) - Negotiable for Good Candidate

Plant: Visnagar, Gujarat

Travel: Regular Visits to factory as required

About the Role

We are looking for a strong, independent and process-oriented Senior HR Manager to take ownership of the company's HR systems, policies, statutory compliance, recruitment processes and people-management framework.

The person will be based at our Ahmedabad office and will oversee and guide the HR team at our manufacturing plant in Visnagar.

This is not a routine HR administration role. The candidate will be responsible for building a structured HR function that can operate independently , with proper policies, systems, accountability, compliance and reporting.

The person will work directly with Founder and will be responsible for reviewing HR performance, identifying gaps and ensuring that HR processes are consistently followed across the organisation.

The person will be responsible for building HR systems, policies and processes, developing people and managers, guiding the factory HR team, ensuring compliance and creating a high-performance organisation .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage the company's overall HR systems, policies, rules and SOPs
  • Manage and review HR systems covering 250+ employees across office, administration and factory
  • Guide, train and review the HR team at the Visnagar plant & Ahmedabad Marketing Office.
  • Build systems that allow HR to operate independently with minimum management intervention
  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Labour Laws, Apprenticeship and statutory requirements
  • Identify and implement relevant Government schemes, incentives, subsidies, benefits and initiatives that can benefit the company and its employees
  • Continuously track changes in government policies and identify opportunities related to employment, apprenticeships, skill development, employee welfare, training, incentives and manufacturing workforce benefits
  • Develop structured recruitment, interview, onboarding and manpower planning systems
  • Train and develop employees, supervisors and managers to improve performance and leadership
  • Build KRA/KPI, performance management and employee development systems
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training and development programs
  • Improve employee productivity, accountability, discipline and retention
  • Plan and execute meaningful employee engagement and workforce involvement initiatives
  • Build employee growth, recognition, internal development and succession systems
  • Establish HR MIS, audits and regular management reporting
  • Handle complex employee, manager and workplace issues and provide practical solutions
  • Continuously identify opportunities where better people management and HR systems can improve operational efficiency and business growth
  • Keep management informed about key HR risks, workforce trends, government opportunities and improvement initiatives

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 2-5 years of practical HR experience; manufacturing / factory HR experience preferred
  • Strong practical knowledge of Indian Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, Apprenticeship and statutory compliance
  • Strong understanding of Government schemes, incentives, subsidies, employment programs and employee welfare initiatives
  • Proven ability to identify, evaluate and implement government benefits and schemes relevant to the company and its workforce
  • Strong policy drafting and HR system-building capability
  • Excellent recruitment, interviewing and people-management skills
  • Experience training and developing employees, supervisors and managers
  • Strong understanding of both blue-collar and white-collar HR Rules.
  • Good command of Excel / Google Sheets and HR MIS
  • Strong communication, ownership, maturity and problem-solving ability
  • Should be capable of building systems rather than personally managing every routine HR activity
  • Should have a business-oriented mindset and understand how people, systems and government opportunities can create measurable value for the organisation

CORE OBJECTIVE

Build a scalable HR engine that manages and develops 250+ employees, strengthens managers, improves workforce productivity, maximises relevant government benefits and enables the company to scale with less dependence on management.
