Cost Accountant

Location: Greater Allentown, PA AreaIndustry: ManufacturingOur client is seeking a Cost Accountant to support product costing, inventory analysis, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, procurement, and engineering teams to provide accurate cost data and support key business decisions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze product costs and maintain costing dataSupport inventory reconciliations and cycle countsPrepare journal entries and assist with month-end closeReview Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor routingsConduct variance analysis and cost-saving evaluationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiativesProvide ad hoc reporting and business analysisQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance1-3 years of accounting or finance experienceManufacturing experience preferredStrong Excel skills requiredERP system experience preferred xzbcwsv SQL and reporting tool experience a plusStrong analytical and communication skills
