Role Description The Article Assistant will support the firm’s day-to-day professional assignments, including accounting, audit, taxation, and compliance work under the guidance of senior team members. Responsibilities may include preparing working papers, assisting in statutory and tax audits, drafting and filing returns or reports, maintaining documentation, and conducting basic research on regulations and standards. The role involves coordinating with clients for information, updating internal records, and contributing to the timely completion of engagements. This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Delhi, requiring regular presence in the office and occasional visits to client locations.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting; ability to work with ledgers, vouchers, and basic reconciliations.
  • Interest or exposure in audit and assurance, including understanding of audit procedures, documentation, and compliance checks.
  • Basic knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, with willingness to learn relevant laws, rules, and filing requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with using professional software and online portals.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and an organized approach to handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, follow professional guidelines, and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a relevant professional course (e.g., CA articleship eligibility or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, positive attitude, and readiness to commit to a structured full-time training period.
