Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Associate will take a hands-on role in evaluating, executing and managing investments, with responsibilities including:Assessing potential acquisitions and investment opportunities, including commercial attractiveness, valuation, competitive positioning and prospective returns.Developing detailed financial models, transaction structures and investment scenarios to support underwriting and investment decisions.Managing key aspects of transaction execution, working with external advisers and internal stakeholders throughout diligence, financing and completion.Preparing investment recommendations and presenting findings to senior investment professionals.Supporting existing portfolio businesses with strategic initiatives, expansion opportunities and operational improvements.Coordinating junior investment professionals and contributing to the development of the wider team.
Candidate RequirementsThe position is ideally suited to an individual with approximately 4+ years of relevant experience, gained within private equity, investment banking or another transaction-focused investment environment.Candidates should demonstrate:Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis capabilities.Meaningful experience executing M&A or principal investment transactions.The ability to take ownership of complex workstreams and exercise sound commercial judgement.Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with senior investment professionals and external counterparties.An entrepreneurial approach, intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in infrastructure investing.
Prior digital infrastructure experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Individuals with relevant backgrounds in broader infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, industrials or related investment sectors will also be considered.
