A respected advisory firm is hiring experienced accounting professionals for project-based consulting roles in the Chicago area. **Please note that this is a full-time, salaried position with competitive base compensation + other incentives. This is not a contract role.**

ResponsibilitiesSupport clients through a variety of strategic finance and technical accounting projectsContribute to or lead initiatives such as:Fund accountingGeneral ledger close and process improvementFP&A, budgeting, and forecasting supportTechnical accounting (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842, SEC reporting)IPO readiness and public company transformationM&A preparation and integrationAdapt quickly to new systems, tools, and team dynamics
Qualifications3+ years of total experience in: external audit, advisory, corporate accounting, and/or corporate finance2+ years of experience in public accounting requiredCPA licensed or in process preferredStrong technical accounting knowledge and business acumenExperience with publicly traded companies/clientsComfortable in fast-paced, client-facing rolesExcellent communication and adaptability in new environments
