$140K–$200K base + bonus. Direct hire.
Our client is a global construction services company, and the location of this position is their office in East San Diego County
THIS IS:- COMMERCIAL MECHANICAL INSULATION estimating: duct, pipe, equipment, and plumbing insulation in buildings- FIRESTOPPING at rated wall and floor penetrations, plus fire-rated grease duct wrap, as part of the same scope- Hospitals, high-rises, other commercial buildings, and data centers, plus some semiconductor and cleanroom scope
WHY THIS ONE- Hospital towers and life science campuses are going up across San Diego County, and healthcare work under HCAI review is steady work- The book includes prevailing wage work, so it holds up when the market slows- You own your estimates from takeoff to proposal, then defend the number to the GC or the mechanical sub
WHAT YOU NEED- hands-on COMMERCIAL MECHANICAL INSULATION estimating experience- You've priced FIRESTOPPING at rated penetrations and fire-rated grease duct wrap- Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam, OST, PlanSwift, and/or FastEST, etc.
