This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, machinery, and utilities to ensure maximum uptime and safe operation. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, executing corrective and preventive maintenance, and documenting maintenance activities. The Maintenance Engineer collaborates with production, safety, and quality teams to plan maintenance schedules, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves monitoring spare parts inventory, coordinating with vendors or service providers when necessary, and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards on site.</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance &amp; Repair for industrial machinery and plant utilities.</li><li>Candidates should possess core Maintenance Engineering skills, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.</li><li>Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance routines.</li><li>Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills for motors, panels, wiring, and basic instrumentation within a plant environment.</li><li>Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline is preferred.</li><li>Experience in chemical, pharma, or process plant maintenance will be an advantage.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety practices, permit-to-work systems, and compliance with relevant standards.</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals, and use standard maintenance tools and diagnostic instruments.</li><li>Good communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and willingness to work in shifts if required.</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Q5qtMpIwlbK%2bUBFG%2bPHWtTfSOdi%2b45wWe" width="0" height="0" />
