VP - Quality Assurance & Quality Control

ResponsibilitiesDirect Quality Control, Analytical Development, and Quality Assurance operations, including personnel management and overall Quality Organization leadershipEnsure laboratory methods, products, systems, and processes comply with cGMP requirements, government regulations, industry standards, and company policiesLead regulatory and third-party audits and manage interactions with FDA inspectors, vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers regarding product and process qualityInvestigate laboratory anomalies, monitor quality trends, maintain accurate test data and records, and periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality Management System with executive leadershipCollaborate with Production, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and New Product Development while advising Executive Management on quality-related decisions and regulatory requirementsLead cross-functional improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, compliance, and cost; manage domestic and international contract manufacturing quality and oversee the Quality Organization budget

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering required; advanced degree preferred, with significant Quality Assurance/Quality Control management experience in nutritional supplement and/or pharmaceutical manufacturingStrong knowledge of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirementsProven ability to lead and manage large teams, including selecting, developing, motivating, and building high-performing employeesStrong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities with demonstrated xzbcwsv success working across multifunctional and global teamsExcellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, negotiation, and team-building skills; international experience preferred
