More about our team The rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharges planning process. </p><ul><li>6:1 Nurse Ratio</li><li>12 Hour Shifts</li><li>No Call Required</li></ul> How you’ll contribute You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this <b>role:</b> <ul><li>Accurately perform patient assessments and identify individual care needs.</li><li>Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.</li><li>Deliver care appropriate to the condition and age of each patient.</li><li>Document medical necessity and nursing activities in a timely and accurate</li></ul> manner. <ul><li>Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.</li><li>Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: <ul><li>CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.</li><li>CCRN preferred.</li><li>Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting</li></ul> preferred.
