Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that the Company's raw materials, processes, and finished products consistently meet established quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with R&D, Production, Supply Chain, external laboratories, vendors, and other stakeholders on quality systems, analytical testing, documentation, validation, investigations, audits, and continuous improvement.

The role is particularly suited to science and pharmacy graduates interested in developing practical experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, and advanced-material quality systems, analytical testing, documentation, and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and packaging materials.
  • Conduct analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing using established test methods and SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, analytical reports, and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Support compliance with applicable cGMP, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain SOPs, specifications, test methods, protocols, and quality records.
  • Participate in investigations relating to out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), deviations, non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support equipment qualification, process validation, cleaning validation, and analytical method validation activities.
  • Coordinate calibration, preventive maintenance, and qualification of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Assist in vendor qualification, supplier quality evaluations, incoming material inspections, and quality audits.
  • Support internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Monitor environmental and laboratory quality parameters as applicable.
  • Assist in product stability studies and compilation and analysis of quality data.
  • Coordinate with external laboratories for analytical testing and documentation.
  • Support preparation of technical documents, product dossiers, regulatory submissions, certificates, and quality-related reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen product quality, laboratory efficiency, documentation, and compliance.
  • Perform other QA/QC responsibilities assigned from time to time.


Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

  • B.Pharm / M.Pharm / D.Pharm; or
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or another relevant discipline.
  • Final-year students pursuing B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc., or M.Sc. may also apply.


Experience

  • Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience in QA, QC, analytical laboratories, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, chemicals, materials, or related sectors will also be considered.


Desired Skills

  • Basic understanding of GMP, GLP, GDP, and pharmaceutical quality systems.
  • Knowledge of analytical laboratory techniques and quality testing.
  • Strong documentation, data-analysis, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to identify problems, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ability to understand and follow SOPs, specifications, test methods, and quality procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proactive approach towards learning and problem solving.
  • Willingness to learn new analytical techniques, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
