A confidential, alternative-investment-focused single family office is looking to hire its first Investor Relations Associate. The firm invests across venture capital, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit.
This is a storytelling role, not a spreadsheet role. You’ll turn investment data into clear, polished communication for stakeholders.
What you’ll doBuild investor and stakeholder decks and periodic reports on portfolio performance, valuations, and returnsExplain the story behind the numbers: what happened in the portfolio, what managers did, and what the firm is seeing in the marketWork with the investment, investment operations, and family office teams to gather information and add contextHelp shape the firm’s brand, marketing materials, and websiteBuild the processes and templates for external investor reporting as the fund launches
What we’re looking for2–3 years in investor relations, investor reporting, or a similar role, ideally at a PE, VC, or asset management firmBachelor’s degree in Finance, xzbcwsv Marketing, or Business; a combination of finance and marketing is idealAbility to read and interpret financial and investment performance data (heavy modeling not required)Advanced PowerPoint skills, strong Excel skills, and a sharp eye for designClear, concise writer who is comfortable working across multiple teamsA self-starter who wants to help build a function from the ground up
