Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) from HEC recognized University.

Required Skills

KOHA / MS Office, Use of Digital Library, Drafting, Editing, Spoken in English, Web Designing, Press Clipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Look after library and Media cell affairs.
• Manage circulations, uploading and maintenance of text/reference books in the library, and use KOHA for the online public access catalogue for faculty and student search.
• Manage uploading of PhD, MS, UG thesis and final year project reports in NUST D-space for online access.
• Manage purchase of new books for the library.
• Manage the media cell for coverage of convocations, open houses, conferences, visits of delegations and student activities.
• Manage archiving of multimedia databases.
• Identify technology needs and make recommendations.
• Oversee the work of other employees and provide feedback.
• Read publication announcements to acquire new texts.
• Maintain a conducive environment to provide library services.
• Interact with students for smooth provision of library services.
• Look after affairs of the library.
