About the Role

BuildAmbit is looking for a Head, Corporate Partnerships to build and lead our corporate talent and placement ecosystem across the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) industry.

The core mandate is to build strong relationships with large and mid-sized AEC organisations, understand their talent requirements, and create consistent hiring and placement opportunities for BuildAmbit's trained and industry-ready learners .

This role sits at the intersection of Corporate Partnerships, Employer Relations, and Placements , with a strong focus on creating meaningful hiring outcomes for BuildAmbit learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with large, mid-sized, and emerging AEC organisations across Architecture, Engineering, Construction, EPC, Infrastructure, Real Estate, BIM, and allied sectors.
• Develop relationships with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Heads, Business Heads, Design Heads, Project Heads, and hiring managers .
• Build a strong pipeline of corporate hiring requirements and placement opportunities.
• Understand employer requirements including roles, skills, experience, locations, compensation, and hiring timelines.
• Map the right BuildAmbit learners and graduates to relevant job opportunities.
• Own the placement lifecycle from requirement identification and candidate mapping to interviews, selection, offer, and joining .
• Work closely with Program, Learner Success, and internal placement teams to ensure candidates are job-ready.
• Drive employer engagement initiatives including placement drives, recruitment days, interviews, industry interactions, internships, and projects .
• Maintain regular engagement with corporate partners to generate repeat and recurring hiring opportunities .
• Build employer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve candidate quality and placement outcomes.
• Track placement pipeline, interviews, selections, offers, joining, and employer satisfaction.
• Represent BuildAmbit at AEC industry events, conferences, HR forums, and employer networking platforms .
• Bring market hiring trends and employer skill requirements back into BuildAmbit's curriculum and learner preparation strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in placements, corporate hiring partnerships, employer relations, talent acquisition, recruitment, or industry engagement.
• Proven experience in building and managing partnerships within the AEC industry.
• Prior experience working with the AEC industry in a corporate setup is essential.
• Strong existing network across AEC organisations and senior corporate stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Strong relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, Business, and Functional Heads .
• Proven ability to build corporate relationships and convert them into actual hiring and placement opportunities .
• Strong understanding of AEC hiring requirements, employer expectations, and talent requirements.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to build and scale the talent partnerships function .

Qualification

• Any Graduate with relevant experience.
• B.Arch / Architecture Graduate or B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering graduate preferred.
• Candidates with strong AEC industry experience and corporate relationships will be given preference.
