<p><strong>Job description </strong> </p><p>We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented <strong>Senior Legal &amp; Compliance Counsel </strong> to act as a trusted strategic partner for a key commercial business division within a leading multinational healthcare organization. </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong> </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>1. Legal Support &amp; Commercial Governance </strong> </p><ul><li>Provide day-to-day, practical legal advice to business leadership on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters. </li><li>Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, procurement, tenders, service contracts, and healthcare provider (HCP/HCO) agreements. </li><li>Identify legal and regulatory risks in business initiatives and propose pragmatic mitigation measures. </li><li>Monitor evolving local and international regulations affecting the healthcare industry and translate them into actionable business guidance. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>2. Healthcare Compliance Frameworks </strong> </p><ul><li>Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the global compliance and ethics program within the division. </li><li>Review and clear high-risk business activities, including sponsorships, grants, advisory boards, medical events, and interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs). </li><li>Conduct third-party compliance due diligence and risk monitoring. </li><li>Deliver compliance communications and training programs covering anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and codes of conduct. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Profile Requirements </strong> </p><p><br /></p><ul><li><strong>Education: </strong> Minimum LLB degree from a recognized university. </li><li><strong>Experience: </strong> 5 to 10+ years of progressive in-house legal experience, with a mandatory background in the <strong>pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare </strong> industry. </li> </ul><p><br /></p>
