Arrangement & piping engineer - power plant design (aveva e3d/pdms)

<p> About the Role: </p> <p> We are seeking an experienced Senior Arrangement &amp; Piping Engineer with expertise in Power Plant Design, Plant Layout Engineering, Mechanical Arrangement, and Piping Engineering . The role involves end-to-end responsibility for 3 D Plant Design , equipment arrangement, piping layout, and generation of engineering deliverables for large-scale Power, Energy, and Industrial Plant Projects . </p> <p> The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AVEVA E3 D/PDMS, Plant Layout Design, Pipe Routing, Isometric Generation, Clash Detection, and Mechanical Arrangement Engineering from concept through detailed engineering and site support. </p> <p> Key Responsibilities: Develop overall plant layout , site arrangement, underground utility networks, and mechanical network planning. Perform Power Plant 3 D Design and equipment arrangement using AVEVA E3 D/PDMS . Create and maintain 3 D models for equipment, piping systems, structural interfaces, and plant modules. Execute piping routing for water, steam, air, gas, and utility systems from concept through detailed engineering. Conduct clash detection and resolution with civil, structural, and multidisciplinary engineering teams using E3 D and Navisworks. Define plant arrangement concepts including: Equipment handling Lifting studies Access and maintenance zones Walkways and platforms Laydown area planning Design large modular plant sections including equipment positioning, piping layout, basic steel interfaces, and manufacturing considerations. Generate engineering deliverables including: General Arrangement (GA) Drawings Piping Layout Drawings Isometric Drawings Pipe Support Drawings Material Take-Offs (MTO/BOM) Installation and fabrication drawings Prepare hydrotest and pressure test mark-ups. Review and resolve technical queries associated with piping and isometric drawings. Coordinate with clients, project teams, vendors, and site personnel during project execution. Support site activities including installation, erection, commissioning, and technical clarifications. </p><p> Required Technical Skills: Strong experience in Arrangement Engineering and Piping Engineering for Power, Energy, or Industrial Plant projects. Expertise in Plant Layout Design and Mechanical Arrangement Engineering . Hands-on experience with: AVEVA E3 D PDMS Auto CAD Navisworks Strong knowledge of: Equipment Layout Pipe Routing Pipe Support Design Isometric Generation Piping Specifications Valve Selection Fittings and Supports P&amp; ID Interpretation Experience working with: Steam Piping Systems Water Piping Systems Air and Gas Networks Utility Piping Systems Knowledge of hydrotesting procedures, pressure testing, insulation systems, heat tracing, gaskets, and inline components. Experience in piping prefabrication, spooling concepts, and fabrication deliverables. Familiarity with international engineering codes, standards, and customer specifications. </p><p> Industry Experience: 5-10 years of experience in: Power Generation Thermal Power Plants Energy Projects Industrial Plant Engineering EPC Projects </p><p> Preferred Skills: Experience with Pipe Stress Analysis and engineering reports. Working knowledge of: CAESAR II ROHR2 LICAD PSHES / ESHES Experience supporting site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing activities. Exposure to modular plant construction and transportable plant assemblies.
