Warehouse Operations Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and daily warehouse operations during assigned shiftsAssign and adjust work tasks to meet productivity goals and operational needsMonitor warehouse operations to ensure safe work practices and compliance with company standardsServe as the main point of contact between warehouse staff, management, and other departmentsResolve operational issues and escalate concerns to management as neededTrain and coach warehouse team members and support consistent operationsCover one or more warehouse locations based on business needs
Qualifications
Warehouse Supervisor RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required
Required Skills
1 year of supervisor or lead experience preferredWorking knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operationsExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory management software, and barcode scanning systemsKnowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, lot tracking, expiration management, and inventory reconciliationExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and healthcare industry quality standardsStrong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbility to read, interpret, and apply policies, xzbcwsv procedures, safety regulations, customer requirements, and operational documentationAbility to prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Preferred Skills
Preferred Qualifications2 or more years of experience in a medical warehouse, healthcare distribution center, pharmaceutical warehouse, or regulated healthcare logistics environment
