VP of People & Culture

DescriptionKforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT, that is seeking a hands-on, high-execution VP of People and Culture for a direct-hire role starting by late October 2026. The role requires occasional evening overlap with Australia and potential December travel.Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline* Eight to ten-plus years of progressive HR/People experience, including senior leadership* Experience supporting a scaling, global organization* Ability to develop workforce plans, headcount forecasts, organizational structures, and people programs with the CEO and Finance* Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdiction employment requirements and PEO/EOR operating models* Hands-on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and employment-risk coordination with counsel* Experience building talent acquisition processes, hiring standards, and talent management programs* Ability to design and deliver manager training, particularly for first-time managers and distributed teams* Operational experience across HRIS, payroll coordination, benefits, employee lifecycle processes, and vendors* Compensation/benefits planning and workforce cost modeling* Strong financial literacy, commercial judgment, stakeholder management, and communication* Willingness to personally use systems and execute work within a small team* Working Hours: Occasional Australian collaboration until approximately 6-7 p.m.; Mountain once or twice weeklyPreferred/Nice to Have:* SaaS or EdTech experience* Experience supporting U.S. multi-state employees and teams in the UK and Australia* BambooHR and Lattice familiarity; these are current client tools* HR systems implementation, automation, and data-quality improvement* Experience supporting leadership transitions and organizational change* People analytics, succession planning, and compensation framework development* Experience managing international employment setups and PEO/EOR relationshipsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation - $
