Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Data Quality Analyst to join our growing data team. In this role, you will monitor and evaluate the quality of data used across our systems and help identify and resolve issues that could affect business operations and decision-making.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to establish quality standards and improve data reliability. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in data analysis, data governance, and quality management while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity
• Identifying and investigating data quality issues
• Writing SQL queries to validate and analyze datasets
• Creating data quality checks and validation rules
• Cleaning and correcting inaccurate or inconsistent data
• Performing data profiling and analysis
• Tracking data quality metrics and preparing reports
• Documenting data issues, root causes, and corrective actions
• Collaborating with data engineers and developers to resolve data problems
• Supporting the development and maintenance of data quality standards
• Performing regular audits of critical datasets
• Helping improve data collection and processing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or a relevant internship
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases
• Good understanding of data quality concepts and data validation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
• Basic understanding of data cleaning and data profiling
• Familiarity with Python or another programming language is a plus
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
