This includes strength training, hydrotherapy, sports psychology, residential facilities, nutritious meals, medical support, and study halls. Catering to athletes from ages 6 to 60, ASB welcomes participants of all age groups and skill levels, providing a nurturing environment for growth both on and off the court. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Akanksha Singh Basketball Academy, located in Bengaluru North. In this role, you will design and implement strength and conditioning programs tailored to athletes’ needs, focusing on improving athletic performance, injury prevention, and overall fitness. Responsibilities include monitoring athlete progress, conducting fitness assessments, educating athletes on proper techniques and nutrition, and collaborating with other coaches and professionals to ensure comprehensive athlete development. Qualifications At least 5 years Expertise in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training with Athletes, with the ability to design customized training programs. Knowledge of Sports Science and a strong understanding of how to enhance Athletic Performance effectively. Skills in Injury Prevention and implementing safety protocols for athletes of varied skill levels and ages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with athletes, coaches, and staff in a collaborative environment. Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field, with relevant certifications such as NSCA, CSCS, or equivalent. 5 years minimum experience in sports or athletic coaching, including working with both youth and adult athletes, is highly desirable. Knowledge of basketball-specific training methodologies will be an added advantage.
